39mm fork rebuild problems

If it took 50k miles to finally tear into leaking front seals, a Harley may not be for you. I hear those Honda grooms are pretty neat...

what an afternoon, but fresh lowers and seals happily on tubes. Those were the most hammered sliders i have ever seen

also FYI, i bought the bike about 40 miles ago as a project, but has over 100k on it. Strong running fxr for 3k, couldn't pass it down. Poor maintenance or not.

FYI, Sportster forks are exactly the same (depending on year of course).

I've lost count of how many sets of 39mm forks I've torn apart.
