Appreciate the info on the pads and caliper upgrades. I know there are a lot of options for the lifters. Any information on Johnson's? Price seems a little low compared to say S&S. Any buddy running them?

A buddy of mine has a very hopped up EVO and he swears by the Johnson Hylift lifters.
Johnson has a slow bleed lifter that really caught my eye..... Especially at the price... Never used them and at the same time never heard anything bad about them... When I read their specs they sounded promising...
That bike came with a front belt pulley configuration that was notorious for coming loose, if it were my bike, I would change over to the updated parts right away.
The updated parts consist of a new pulley, pulley spacer, oil seal, nut and lock.
Slim that is a sweet ride. Thanks for the info on the brake upgrade. Going to use the TL's head-lite and spots. Any other reputable suppliers of LED lites that will fit the rest? Fender tips, Tour pac, turn and tail? Checked out Custom Dynamics and they go back to 99. What seat are you rolling on. Looks smooth
Yeah, I have the Truck Lite headlight and spots on my bike. You already have the "good" inner cam bearing, so don't sweat that one. New lifters, certainly, as it's time. A better cam is well worth the trouble. The adjustable pushrods are to do a quick job on the lifters and/or cam, as you don't have to pull the top of the motor apart. Otherwise, if money is tight and time isn't, you don't need them. If you replace the whole exhaust, then anything off a twinkie dresser up to 2007 will fit. If the S&S is jetted correctly now, then you don't need other jets. If you change out the cam and exhaust, then maybe. Remember, more gas does not necessarily mean more HP. "Just the right amount of gas" means more HP.
That's the stock seat and backrest redone by a custom auto upholsterer. When the original vinyl cover started splitting on me two years ago, I limped through the remainder of the summer with electrical tape. I explored options for a replacement, and found that there were few for what I needed. Corbin was the only company that had a full replacement -- seat and both backrests and it was well north of $1000.
So I went to a local custom upholsterer and found that for less than the price of the Corbin, he could redo the whole thing in leather to my specifications. I just had to supply a picture of the design I wanted. It came out great:

I got replacement bulbs for everything else at superbrightleds.com; I'm sure there are others, but they had a huge selection and a 'bulb finder' that made it easy to see the many options. To replace the turn signals with LED you will also need to replace or modify the flasher as the LED bulbs don't draw enough current for the stock flasher to work correctly. I used a Badlands replacement flasher.
