front cyl running rich
05 FLHRC S&S, Front cyl is running rich. Both plugs are black slightly more on the front. Considerable black smoke from front cyl. but not rear. Carb problem or intake, head gasket, valve problem? TIA. Cams done recently along with coil/plugs/wires.

Your bike is a 2005 which means it has a twin cam engine. This is the section for bikes powered by the Evolution engine which was produced from 1985-2000. Twin Cam engines were produced from 1999-2017.
That being said.......
The easiest thing to do is a compression test of both cylinders. That will point you in the right direction.
