Elmo welcome to the party. And those fishtails are just fine - they came on great mufflers, back in the day - I had a pair myself for many years.

immediate plans are to do head gaskets and a breather filter. that will hopefully be this weekend

I'm still running one of those fishtail mufflers on my Evo, as you can see. Kerker made them for Harley-Davidson back in the day. They were excellent performers.

this is what we were waiting for oh my, EV13 with a big bike, head clean up plus milling, thinner head gasket, free flowing air filter. My brothers will be along to add more.
