Default Turn Signals Act Weird

My 89 FLTC has stopped flashing but do light up when activated. Four way flashers work normally. This bike has leds but has worked great until today ,operating with no hyper flash without load equalizers. I have an idea of the cause ( flasher module) but would love to hear from others.

there are 2 flashers in my 85 fl model. 1 for the 4 ways and the other for the blinkers. i replaced the blinker flasher with a 552 flasher from an auto parts store. i don't know if your 89 has the same setup as mine, you'll have to look.

I'd bet your 89 has 2 flashers 1 turn and 1 4 way..

It can be fun to find a bad flasher when it doesn't make it's usual noise when operating.

Find the 4 way by tracing it's noise and maybe the signal flasher is close to it.

Opps That changes the story a bit.
Is it am OEM flasher module? Most OEM modules I've seen tend to hyper flash.
Yours not doing without equalizers is a surprise.

Hope ya get it figured out

If the parts manual is to be believed the module off my sportster should be the same. As soon as I can swap them out I’ll post the outcome

Does not matter if its module or a mechanical flasher, my guess its bad.
