Yeah but FXR people get almost as pissy when you an FXR a dyna ....as shovelhead people get when you call an ironhead a shovel...
Definitely unless someone is well acquainted both models, there is a difference in perspectives/knowledge from the Two Camps (FXR & Dyna) on the same subject (bike)
Please everyone...if someone calls your Dyna a Sportster, don't lose your "Cool"
.

I once had some clown ask me if my LRS was a sportster. I just chucked, said no, and moved on.

I came out the store a few weeks back and a guy parked his bike (Harley but didn't pay attention to what it was) beside me but was standing there on the phone. He looks down at my bike as I'm walking up and says "Does that say 110"? I said all day long.
I've been to the Harley dealer in the Philippines. Kinda. On the base at Subic, there was an office that was the "dealer." You could order your bike there. I saw a couple Harleys in Olongapo City. It was a "popular" retirement home for squids. The locals even had a name for them. Can't remember it, but it was pretty common for a squid to retire there after 20-30 years in the Navy, party like there's no tomorrow and keel over dead in about 6 months. A beer, in a bar, was about 12 cents. Mid 80's.
It would not surprise me at all if this bike was from one of those retired Navy guys.
