Can anyone recommend a good type/brand of paint to use to repaint over my inner primary and around motor base? Years ago I purchased some beat-up used hardware to install passenger floorboards and I can't remember for sure if I used Rust Oleum brand or not to refurbish, but they came out beautiful and still look good. I'm hoping to get same results as before by just using spray paint. Thanks
Wow, looks great! Where did you buy the header paint? Do you remember brand? Not sure if I'm brave enough to attempt the fins, just the inner primary and everything around motor base for now.
Texture paint from Harley if you want it to look like it did when new.
that's texture, not wrinkle
exactly. Its isn't quite a wrinkle paint, it has a slight amount of texture to it.
I redo cases heads etc etc all the time..for me the best finish comes out when I bring the area/ambient temp to around 80F.
the paint is expensive, but worth it.
