Default 91 flhs ignition toggle

Someone tried to steal my bike recently, and in doing so wrecked the ignition switch. Not that easy to find, and expensive when you do.

So, I have decided to put a simple toggle in place to turn the bike off and on, but having an issue. Every wiring diagram I can find has 3 wires. The switch on my bike has 4: Red, Orange, green, white

i got a simple 2 pin toggle, but how do I wire it using that? I was told by a friend to use separate switch for lights, but which is lights?

HELP!!!

if it is on the dash amazon sells them.
Dont let that switch (any) bring you sleep at night, as it is extremely EZ to hot wire.

If you're determined to do it, red on one side of the switch, orange (accessories), green (lights) and white (ignition) on the other side.

Rather disconcerting that people are trying to steal 30 year old bikes.

I know, if it wasn’t that I can’t afford anything else right now, I wouldn’t even be trying this **** right now. I have a 12v/35a switch. Do you think I need to separate anything off the switch?

And buy a good chain, cobralink, or cable lock with a top notch padlock. It would be cheaper to fix your ignition switch, though. I use both on the road. They will probably be back.

Yeah. However, I can imagine the value of the parts, far exceed the value of the complete motorcycle.
