I'm pretty sure they are the same pipe. Most are listed as Dyna/Softail (year range)?

I thought it had to do with pegs or floorboards. Determines where the front pipe location is..

Same part ## for Dyna or Softail only difference is the mount to the trans. The pipe on the FXR sat a little too low for my taste so I found a local supertrapp fxr specific sits high. Don't think the admins liked the fact that I was selling a pipe not in the classified section.

Ok thanks. Yeah I don’t mind the FXR specific model only problem is they don’t offer heat shields for it and I don’t like the brown color stainless takes on when heated. I may try the standard chrome pipe, use the existing Road Rage trans bracket I have and have a piece of stainless cut as an extension/adapter for the bassani bracket as needed. I was also playing with the idea of seeing if the supertrapp universal muffler would fit on the bassani headers, but I have to get a caliper to measure the collector diameter.

That would be awesome. Thanks a lot!

Edit: Is that the universal or the Dyna/softail muffler?
