Garry as we all know exposure to sunlight causes paint to fade and the vibration on Harleys can cause bolts and nuts to vibrate loose.
The easiest way to combat these problems is get a good thick layer of dirt and bug guts on your bike!
This is easily done by simply riding your bike.
As for the bolt/nut problem just leave your bike out in the rain and take every opportunity to ride it in the rain and in no time everything will be covered with rust so you don't have to worry about anything vibrating loose again!!!
As every mechanic knows rust is natures lock tight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have any other questions about the care and maintenance of your bike all you have to do is ask!!!!!

For the love of God please don't follow the above advice on that damn nice looking bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your words of wisdom often astound us here.
Don't know what we would do without ya THC

Thanks THC!!

You've described my bike cleaning style perfectly.

I've always thought I was just to damn lazy to clean it, but thanks to your excellent explanation, I now know that I'm actually doing the right thing for my bike.

I feel much better about myself.
