Hey, Been jumping around with different brands of lifters and have not had a great deal of luck.. I Think I'm going back to the OEM lifters. I have a set that's like new without out any major wear on them but am missing one. Does any one have one they would like to sell me. As long as it's currently pumped up it should be good.. Part# 18523-86B.. Thanx Bob...

No, no luck with the S$S.. I measured the lifter outer diameter and the S&S actually come in under the OEM. S&S .8415" and OEM .8420" Plus I don't like the way the S&S is wearing. Lots of scores in the lifter body. My OEM lifters are very smooth. No scoring... Can you get a single lifter from the MOCO.?
OEM is in the left ...

I put the OEM ones back in my 1997 Bad Boy after a recent cam swap. I hadnt intended to, I bought a set of Johnson Hylifts off Amazon (the $90 set) but 2 failed. Bike has about 7.5k miles on it. OEM has worked just fine with the new cam.

Actually I spoke to one of the Engineers at Johnson. They no longer make lifters for Evo's they sold that line to "Hylift". They are not the same.. Don't be confused...

I know a couple of people running the Johnson Hylift lifters and they like them. YMMV
