I would get a different rim... Don't SACRIFICE braking to look cool.... That's just DumbShit.......

Lots of concern about a Brake, that still outperforms the old Pie slice and Cloverleaf of the late '70's... and Mine will still slide the front tire...
Question.... once you can lock the front tire... how much more is required for Good Braking?????

20 years younger than that cloverleaf pie and I still can lock my front..... And I don't want to....

Haha, that’s funny! Well I’m not going to go single because it’s too expensive! I looked around and to get all the necessary components would be hundreds.
I’m going to make the 06 fit and put new bearings in. I’ve tried to find roller type for that year but can’t find any. I’ll just get sealed and the adapter for 3/4”.
So again, the stock calipers on my 97 are larger pad area than the 06 rotor surface area and will stick over about 1/4”. No issues?
