Default Titan Clutch

I picked up this clutch off eBay for a great deal. All fibers and steel plates look good. I have heard of Titan the motorcycle builder but this clutch pressure plate has Titan stamped on it in 3 places .anyone ever come across one of these. It looks like a Barnett clutch but who knows it also had 10 fibers plates so maybe an add a plate kit ?

The basket looks OEM like the one in my 98.. The disks and plates I can't give any info on.. Can't see them.. Maybe they make them as a direct replacement. Tried googling and couldn't find any info..

i may try and squeeze it into my 91 but I think the clutch is thicker meaning it would contact my outer primary but we will see

It would depend on the length of your mainshaft. I checked the different years and they used the same mainshaft so you should be ok but will have to replace the pushrod end adjuster. #37090-98A. I went with a stock setup and only changed the spring diaphragm to a Screaming Eagle and it handles my 115/tq no problem 9 disc setup....

Curious to where you got your info from.. I can see maybe the Titan clutch pack but I don't think a stock aluminum basket will hold up to long... 180 lbs of torque is a lot...

My 91 basket with Rivera primo gold plate and variable clutch handle 250 hp. This is from the Barnett spokesperson. Turns out this is the Barnett scorpion re branded for Titan mc. Any way if you replace the black 6 springs seen in the photo with red springs it will hold 180+ HP.

I have one of those....but it's in my Titan...lol
The Titans use a proprietary inner primary offset for wide tires, but use a stock softail
outer primary with a stock configuration for transmissions and mainshafts.
I can't remember the year equivalent but replaced it when rebuilding the Jim's 5
speed. Don't know if there is any more room in there for the clutch or not but don't
think so???
Are you sure it's all that much taller? looks like the springs aren't down tight, not sure
how much difference that would make. Wouldn't take long to throw it in and see if it
will spin. In either case, good luck.
