I'm at the point where I need to plumb my engine oil lines. My original oil lines were brittle, and had multiple thin spots from rubbing against other hoses etc.
I'm having trouble with 3/8" hose wanting to kink where they go to the oil pump. Any one have any options there? Don't really want to use braided lines, not my style. Nos lines are hard to track down...so, I'm sorta stuck at this point. I was thinking if I could make a 90deg hardline off the pump, then go to rubber, anyone done that? 5/16" hose doesn't kink, but i don't think that would work

Go to your local auto parts store and get a 3/8ths 90° fitting and a couple of hose clamps.
Try King's idea, but also go to the parts store and ask to go where ever the hose is, fuel injector hose will take a bend without kinking better than regular fuel line, but my point is to go and try bending different hose they have to test which works better.
Also, napa usually has all their molded hose hanging up, when I need to rig something like that, I go and see what they have to work with, maybe use parts of molded hose and hard (brake) line to get what you need to work.
Soon as you find out what that 3/8" brass rod is going to cost if you can find one it'll be back to fittings, some of you guys could complicate a gang bang.......
