Good day to you. My head lamp my spot lamps also any of my running lights, my turn light are the only thing that is working
it is also making a clicking sound until I start it up
Breaker... Under seat on FX??? I do Not recall on an FL... the one with a blue wire is the suspect... put a finger on it [when ya find it] when power on to see if it is breaking...if so... suspect a shorted "lighting" wire...
Ok please don't take offence by this question but how good a mechanic are you?
I suspect your problem will be a bad ground but the only way to find what your problem is will be to grab a DVM and start tracing things down.
Another thing that could be a problem is one of your thermal breakers (possible source of your clicking).
You need to find the source of the clicking first.
The reason for the first question is that electrical faults are the biggest PITA to find.
Do you have the factory service manual for your bike??
You will need it or one like it for the wiring diagram.

Clicking is probably a circuit breaker overloading. It cools off and trying again. That's a potential wire meltdown. I wouldn't turn the ignition on until you are ready to diagnose the problem.
Pinched Lighting Wire.... Breaker with Blue Wire Is "breaking" and resetting..as it is designed to do.
Retrace yer steps.... Change Bars?? move handlebar controls? add anything to rear at Fender?? Had the Nachelle off?
I washed the bike yesterday afternoon, and they were fine until this morning
Then you got water somewhere it shouldn't be.
Did you use a pressure washer???
If it were me I'd take off everything I had to so that all wire connectors were exposed and put a fan on it for a day.
You should be good after it dries out.
I'd still look for the source of your clicking.
It could be a breaker that water is shorting the posts and if you dry that it will solve your problems.

All good till here.
Accross the posts is only going to circumvent the Function of the Breaker... which is to get "hot" if overcurrent [ie short to ground] once hot it "breaks" once cooled...it "resets"... then if a short is still present, gets hot and opens again..until something fails...as hoginedgewood has shared.
Anyway... something is certainly exposed that should not be...water is a great conductor...so... as stated... even if it dries out and becomes functional... something is amiss..
I'm standing by a pinched wire someplace in the lighting circuit. Once the breaker is located... it is a simple matter to detach the output wires, one at a time to ascertain if front or back is the problem at least...
