Quite useful for those who don't know how to look up an HD VIN... only after '81 tho!!!!!
Not much revealed there I'm afraid... How about things like...Exact production Date, original equipment options, where delivered to... anything.

already gots 'em... and I don't get yer point... How didja "register" yer Bike at the Website???

OK nevermind I found that... Not useful enough for me to fool around with "registration" for that... I have, or have access to,, the Books....

I believe you are posting your engine number ( the abbreviated VIN as it appears on the engine) ealk119523, which should be the engine from a 1989 FXR

If he was smart he probably did. Not all first time posters or whatever have the knowledge necessary to figure out what they have, where to find it or even how to properly present their issue... You guys gotta lighten up a little.. is every thread gonna become a debate?
