Im trying to find some wheels for the bike now..It seems to be a pretty difficult task! Im looking for 2004-2005 Dyna wheels with a 1" front axle. Is there a special place on the internet that I should be looking?? I don't really want to buy new wheels because I think the money can be better spent elsewhere. But if I have to I was looking at Ryd Wheels..They're pretty nice, but it they're very proud of their products and want like over $3k for the wheels I would want....
I live in the UK and have bought my wheels from US Ebay, however also check the Classified ads here on HDF. I only buy wheels without tyres, to keep shipping costs to a minimum. Don't expect to find exactly what you want within seconds of looking, it can take weeks, even months, so be patient!

true..I've been combing the classifieds and eBay for quite some time...I might just go with these Ryd wheels...we'll see how much money I have left! First priority is the front end, then the fairings and swingarm..

I create an eBay email alert using the HD part number and description. Everything eventually comes up for sale. The more patient you are the more you save.
You can try googling "Harley Davidson Morris Mag Wheels" these are the 7 spoked aluminum wheels that were used on the beginning of the FX models dating back to the 70's.
On a side note..I finally got my 99 FXR running! Hooked up the Spyke High Torque starter, had an issue with the coupling that connects the starter to the jackshaft..got it all dialed in, and now my bike runs like a champ! Just gotta hook up the 14" Split MX T bars from FXR Division and get the Conelly's fairing painted and installed..then I should be good until its time to revamp this one..which will be right after the '94
