Stock handlebar wiring length?
My 1994 road king had apes on it and the starter button shorted out and the square style switch gear is NLA at the dealers, and unless you want chinese parts as a replacement you are **** out of luck without going used.
So... I ordered a set of used 1996 up style switch pods off ebay with a newer model master cylinder, and put the stock bars back on it just to test everything out. Looking to put on a set of the heritage style bars for the same reason, takes stock length stuff. The wiring of the ebay set is also for for apes, so I've got a load of excess. I'd like to whack them down to the stock length, so if I lose another switch I can replace it and not have to dick around with adding any length to match the rest of the harness.
Anyone know what the stock length should be for the wiring?

It hides behind the tank just fine and should you ever want to go to taller bars again then you don't have to splice in any wire.
