salvage bike now my BIKE
Great looking bike! Wouldn't bother me at all if it was a salvage title.
"Still here"
Here in Calif salvaged titles are a P I T A $ $. I have a 68 C10 that has a salvaged title that when I went to change ownership at the DMV it cost me around $400+ and then I had to get a Brakes and Lights inspection by a State Certified Inspection Station that was for Vehicles so might be different for Motorcycles IDK. Any way I Will Never Do a Salvage Title ever Again and I think every time my truck is re registered it will have to go through the same thing I had to when registering it another Brake and Lights Inspection by the New Owner. Like I said might be different for Bikes/Motorcycles. Good Luck
An FXRDG was no different from an FXR, aside from the paint, wheel, chrome, and cosmetics. Just buy a service manual for an 84 FXR.
For the newer Dyna's to date all Dyna's are in the same Service Manual all together like my old 02 Dyna SG same service manual for all Dyna's. A Dyna is a Dyna all day long just has different gingerbread parts.
Nice looking bike. As for an FSM, just follow mrlexus's advice and get the 'FXR' manual for your year, which your local friendly dealer can supply. By all means check Ebay etc for secondhand copies, but take care, as many are advertised at higher prices than a genuine new one.

That's nice, and accurate... but this is Not a Dyna... not even close... FXR is however FXR ...basically...engine changes, Clutch, primary, and starter aside....
Oh and... I would not say my boys '07 Dyna was "Just like" my Brother in laws 1995 Dyna either!!!
