I have this 1990 FXSTC that I just bought. The outer primary has some chrome pitting and flaking. I am wondering what years will fit this bike.
I have done some research and it looks like there was a change from 1989 to 1990. Then the inner and outer primary part numbers changed again in 1994 for the Softail. Then again in 2000 (1999 to 2000 went to a 5 hole derby vs 3, not sure what else changed.
So am I limited to finding one from 1990 to 1993 or will other year interchange?
