They may assemble them here but no questions the parts are China sourced.

You can get good stuff made in China but you have to ask for it. There are plenty of producers in China who know that everyone can be swayed by a bargain and so they provide....sometimes they are actually OK....most times....quality is a foreign concept.

I just was told this recently from my local wrench as well. I said i was looking for a good deal out there for a used S&S for my FXR....I had no idea there were bogus ones out there. He made a good point, you'll see "used" carbs for sale for what seems to be a great price and they're not legit.

OEMs already source some parts from China/Taiwan/Vietnam. That is just the reality of the global economy. There is a long PPAP process in place to qualify parts for OEM use, Ebay probably not so much.

Just for ***** and giggles I bought a chiwaneese 45mik. I pulled my older version mik and wrote down clip.settings and jet sizes. I swapped the jets pulled the air fuel jet out 2 turns. As it turns out this knock of is a bit smoother than my legit 45. Everything swapped out . It looks to be exactly the same.
