I wouldn't waste my time on an HD EVO speedometer. It might not bleed now, but it will eventually. Don't throw your money away. I upgraded to a twin cam speedometer that HD offered as a kit when I couldn't read my EVO speedometer anymore.

I’ll check if that kit still is possible to buy.
Thanks!
You might have to call HD corporate to find one. If they don't have the p/n of the kit, let me know and I'll dig mine up. I think I still have the instruction sheet. I know there are a few in the US. Most have some mileage on the speedo from where a guy wanted to upgrade, they had the odometer mileage fixed at HD, then shipped it to the dealer. Then the guy didn't get the work done so they're stuck with a speedo kit they can't sell. The kit retails for $500 but I got mine with mileage on the Odometer for half price. There is exactly one kit in the US with no mileage on the odometer. The dealer want's the full $500 for that. I can take my shoes off to do the math so I pocketed the $250 and bought one with mileage on it.

I second that opinion.....the speedometers from the Twin Cams are much better. Keep in mind....I believe the speedometers from 2004-up are not compatible if you retrofit.
Sadly second hand Harley parts here in Sweden are usually limited to exhaustgas systems (for Softails), seats for Sportsters and well that’s about that.
I was quoted $300 for the second hand ’97 Road King Speedo.
I”ll check if I can find a TC speedo.
I already have the adapter wiring to plug in the TC speedo.
There are some good write ups in here on how to change the LCD screen on these speedometers. I seem to remember someone posted where to source new screens without having to buy the whole speedometer.

I've seen the same. Going to be a good bit cheaper than a whole new speedo.
