My drywall guy swears by it. Say's his bike runs way cooler than with conventional oil. Comments? I guess if it were the miracle oil, we'd all be using it. IDK? Saw another thread. don't do it.
back in the old days when Harleys used 50 weight oil you could stop at any farm supply store and buy oil because that's what most tractors used too .
In fact... I was taught to use the Farmer type Gear oil, as it was more appropriate for Roller Bearings....
Never hurt nuthin. cause bein young, dumb, and Poor farm boy, of course that is what I did!!!!!!
Years ago I heard my boss order oil for his construction company over the phone...of course the salesperson was trying to up-sale him on better quality oil...he told them to send the cheapest stuff they had...
When I questioned him on why he didn't buy the quality oil...he proceeded to tell me he worked at an oil packaging company for 10 years...and they bottled multiple brands of oil from premium, to the cheapest stuff on the planet...
And it was all the same oil...just in different containers...I have considered all oil claims BS since then
Ran Aeroshell 100 & 120 in the shovel for a while in the midwest when I did a gig at a local airport and got it for cost. Saw no difference in anything aside from it didn't get as dirty as usual between changes. Not worth the extra you'd pay for it over decent dino oil.
