wiring change over---HELP
Well good day to one and all,
I am currently putting together a 91 FLHTC for an old army buddy of mine but the thing is it needs help.
The moron I bought it from didn't take it apart,he broke it apart and when breaking it apart didn't work,he musta gave it a big ole kick every time as every body part has a dent or 2,and if i look close,3 or 4......
Oh well
Anyways,
I Figure it will be pretty costly to put the FLHTC back to original so my next plan of attack is to turn the bike into a FLHS.
I got everything I pretty much need to get this done.
What I am seeing is that on the 91 FLHTC ,,,the wiring that is FUBAR is called the ""fairing harness""????
I see I can get a 87 FLHS ""headlight harness"".
My question is will the 87 headlight harness plug(for the most part) into a 91 main?
I wanna **** can this self cancelling turn signal expensive leave you broke down part.....
I also seen a picture of an 87 FLHS,,,it has the same switches as my 85 FXSB,you know,with out a radio,like who needs that????
The 91 FLHTC,the ""fairing harness""" things are melted.....
I can fix the existing with solder and connectors but I'm thinking if I can get an unmolested 87 FLHS headlight harness and **** can what I don't need/want it would make life easier.And easy is always best my friends..
Anyways.
Any help on this would be real cool and I thank one and all in advance.
