Default Floorboards

With the proper exhaust, is it possible to put passenger floorboards on the 93-96 FLSTN's? Thanks.

I put them on my '95 Heritage so I don't see why not.

I used HD ones and I will never bolt anything from Kuryakyn to either of my bikes ever again.

No, just pegs. I'll put them on after I change the exhaust. No hurry, as it will be set up as a solo rider for a while. I have decided to buy the bike and will post pix in another intro thread.

THC, is your '95 the same as my '96 Heritage in that there's just the one bolt that holds the passenger footpeg mount on?

If it is the same, do your passenger floorboards mount to the bike with only that same single bolt holding it on? Or do yours mount differently?

I tried to install a set of floorboards on mine, but no matter how tight I tighten that one bolt, there's no way to keep it from rotating if my passenger puts any weight on either the front end or the rear end of the floorboard. And then it clanks into the exhaust.

So I put the footpegs back on mine.

Mine have a plate that keeps it from moving by bracing on the swing arm pivot bolt.

Thanks THC. I'll have to figure out something like that for the ones I bought.
