Default Replace or Rebuild?

The front suspension wasn't leaking and worked just fine before disassembly, but inspecting them I can see scuffing in the chrome. I took a caliper to them and there isn't any measurable difference anywhere on the tube that I can find. Should I run them they way they are or go with new tubes, and where can you get quality ones now that Moco discontinued them?

It's up to you.
Me personally I'd run them but my son would find replacements.

Run em!

But if you want to replace them I have had good luck with forking by Frank and I think it was CCE

Depends on how scuffed up they are honestly, if you can drag a fingernail over the area and feel it the seal life will be iffy. You can get R&R kits with new bushings which do help and may try Jireh cycles for tubes, imports but I've used several sets with no issues over the years.

If I didn't have any leaks I would replace seals and run them ... if you want to replace you can check TC Bros ... good quality and good prices

If you're running cowbells and there's no leaks, I wouldn't worry about it....

I was thinkin the same thing, they worked well before, so I just think I'll freshen them up with new bushings and seals and use the "replacement" money on Intimidators.....lol.

The tubes on my FXSTC got rough enough to damages the seals even though they looked shiny. The Indy I use has a machine to restore the tubes that looks just like those hot dog rollers at truck stops. He polished my tubes to a perfect finish two years ago and no problems yet.

Does anyone make a complete kit with all the seals and bushings for the 41mm forks, I can find kits that .....almost complete but they all seem to be missing something.
