Does anyone make a complete kit with all the seals and bushings for the 41mm forks, I can find kits that .....almost complete but they all seem to be missing something.
The one from HD has everything except for the drain bolt.
I guess that the manufacturers of these kits don't think that a bolt is a seal... Seal Kit.... Not bolt kit.....
Both bolts I mentioned have copper seals that can't be bought separately
The job can be done without new drain plugs but can't be done without new bottom bolts unless you want to take a chance of them leaking.
I can see why you want to rebuild them now since everything is apart but personally I'd take them apart and see what you need instead of just buying everything as most times all you need is a new seal.
There is no profit in replacing good parts.
Yeah...I haven't checked tolerances yet on anything, and like I said they worked fine and didn't leak, Maybe I'll just do emulators and new gaskets. I did go over both tubes last night and there is no feel-able groves or scratches on them, so I'm going to run them they way they are. Thanks for the info.
Pretty sure you can get copper washers at Napa auto parts store.. Most all brake lines use them as well.. on cars
Please let me know what you find because I couldn't find any that matched the washers for the bolts.
Don't forget you have to match the inner and outer diameter for those crush washers.
FWIW I did a lot of looking before I gave up.

Maybe McMaster-Carr has something? Maybe the M8 or M10?
