Default Shifter Lever removal help
Anyone can help out on how to remove shifter lever on a 99 fatboy?its the splined peice im refering to any help appreciated!!

Loosen the pinch bolt and slide it off.

They can get crudded up over time. Might take some persuasion if it hasn't been removed for a while.

take the bolt out after you get it loose. then tap it with a hammer or pry on it with a screw driver. bolt must be removed.

Yes. Not just loosen. You have to pull the bolt out.

There is no bolt,only attachement is with the shifter arm,and it just slides out but the problem is i cant slide it back enough it hits the inner primary

that's a different story. I don't know about that one. maybe take that bracket off?

Jack it up and remove the jiffy stand bracket.
