Default Floorboard rubber

88 FLHS Anyone ever have there floorboard rubber covers wear out or get hard over time? I may be imagining this but lately I seem to be feeling a tad more vibe through my floorboards.

Yeah I've had to replace mine on my Heritage twice since I've owned it.
First the rubber gets hard then the rubber cushions break.
That is normal.

Thanks Texas, yeah I imagine after this long they're hardened up. Time to start looking for a replacement OEM set.

I got replacements from surdyke a few years ago.

The new ones made riding a lot more comfortable because the old ones were so hard they transmitted vibration to my boots which made my feet numb.

I went to local dealership, it is something they upgrade on customer bikes all the time. Mechanic reached into a box of about 100 sets and gave me a set, free. Pretty sure they are all the same for the D shape foot boards. Worth a shot.

I got some from J&P Cycles a couple of years ago. As previously stated they're not that expensive.
