This was what I used and had on hand, the 205 works really well after compound, and the #9 finishes it off nicely, gets rid of the slight halo looking lines, or whatever it's called.
Both Meguiars products said body shop safe, so I assumed it shouldn't seal the surface.
And yes, I was concerned with how long I should let it breath and cure before using coatings.
Getting ready to paint Streetglide with stretched bags, chopped tourpack plus wants the dash painted using HOK Burple, told the owner I'm going to need a nap in between coats, that's a lot of parts.
Currently filling rock chips, straightening the aftermarket stretched bags up some plus it had decals from hell on the bags and fairing. Hopefully have the parts set up in the paint booth tomorrow night and paint Friday. Since we are on a roll going to try remembering taking pics of the paint stages and post them.
Painted the first wave of parts, several more to go on one of those custom Street Glides. For those wondering the cost of materials, this paint job is at $670 right now at dealership cost. 1 gal of premium reducer is $58, I qt of urethane clear with activator is $118 cost, HOK stuff $$$$$, price of this stuff is out of control. This color does have some purple in it but lights and camera doesn't pick much of it up, really cool color
Used my shoe as a test panel to see what House of Kolor Burple looked like
First color of HOK base black applied
2nd application is HOK blue/purple Candy basecoat called Burple, starting to flatten for the next step
3rd stage is 3 coats of Urethane catalyzed 4-1 ratio thinned for flow

Met up with an old friend today, ran the roads first time since it's crash. Forgot about the soul of a EVO, sure as heck didn't want to get off of it.
Broke down and ordered a C&C solo seat for it being a couple of weeks out, the Mustang Vintage is one comfortable seat but will going back on the Roadglide in favor of the C&C custom seat
