Default what the heck

i drained my trans and went to refill and this is in the hole,,,,,how does this come out ?? it had a small allen in the center that came out but i cant get oil back in....

That is the fill plug and dipstick. it all needs to come out. not sure why the allen is threaded into it, it is one piece on my bike. Somebody did something very strange.

Try screwing the allen back in using RED loctite. Let is sit overnight and then try again tomorrow, hopefully the entire assembly will come out this time.

Then you need to find an OEM dipstick fill plug.

If you can find a bolt with the correct thread, screw it in with a nut to lock it.

Craziest thing i ever saw,,The P.O was an engineer,so who the hell knows,,i'm sure he had a reason.....thanks for the help

nothing a sharp chisel and whack with the hammer couldn't fix,,,came right out and had a dipstick on the other end,,,,,,WEIRD

Go find yourself an original dipstick so that never happens again. Good job with the chisel, K.I.S.S.

Personally I prefer the dipsticks made by JOKER as you use a 3/4" wrench instead of an allen to loosen or tighten the dipstick.

That explains a lot! The original dipstick went AWOL or was wrecked in some way, so he improvised with what came to hand. Typical engineer....
