i/m on a road trip and my dual fire ignition died,,,,,my friend has an extra crane hi-4 single fire but all i have is my dual fire coil,,,,,,,,any way to make this work ???? i know it's a crazy question but crazy times call for crazy measures

Put the two Trigger wires [blk and wht] on the opposite side of the coil from the O.E. white wire [switched 12v] and Go... till ya get where you can change it... not thousands of miles preferably..
I thought the Hy-4 was either single or dual Fire...Selectable??
LMK if this don't work... but... triggers is triggers, IMO

Red is power in to module, terminated at the + of the coil.
Black from the module is trigger for the coil.
Brown to tach,
Green to VOES.
Tape off white wire
Mode Sel Dial on 4 (or 5)
All other dials set at 5
