Default Swingarm Upgrade pt. 2

So......
Two years ago I upgraded the '98 Night Glide with a 9 spoke wheel and the CCE retro swingarm kit. I was very happy with the results. Not being able to leave well enough alone (and my brother having his swingarm break), I followed Graham down the rabbit hole and accumulated the parts to convert to the upgraded swingarm. Mid-assembly I realized that my CCE kit would not fit the '07 swingarm, and that HD had inserted their own spherical bearings that take a 3/4" pivot shaft.
What I think I need to find is adapter bushings for the 5/8" pivot shaft. Apparently the newer trans has a larger hole for the shaft. I can't determine if CCE has the right kit or not. They haven't returned my call. Any suggestions?

Jasper86 did this too. He still has the bike so I'll ask him to post about it hopefully. I have a true-track kit that I well install this winter. I'm m not too sure if it is as effective.

I used a CCE retrofit kit for the 02+ swingarm and 5/8" shaft back in '14, I guess they should still have them.

Do you know which kit you used? Their website is not very clear about which kit does what. Sill no return call.

The "swingarm retro fit kit" is an upgrade for the factory old swingarm.

The "late model swingarm kit" is the one meant for you to do an 02 and up swingarm replacement.

I did this to an 89 and used my original pivot shaft. If your pivot shaft is in good shape you could get the SAR-2008-01 kit and be good.

Good to hear, I was thinking about doing it to Alma like I did to the 89 but decided to be cheap...lol. I will gather all the parts needed for the conversion slowly, I also plan on doing late model fork lowers and Brembo's on the front also. Parts are easier to come by for the 02 and up wheels and brakes.

I used the CCE kit last year when I upgraded my '96 Road King frame to the '08 Road Glide swingarm. I ended up calling their customer service line to make sure I was getting the right kit.
Easy to install and has been riding fine ever since.
The upgraded braking has been a massive improvement for this old EVO.
