Default What does this number mean ?

Hello gentleman.
I ride 91 springer softail now.
I bought this ride 3years ago.
Recently I have noticed a number 0175 written at the alluminum plate which is along with the key.
I have not found any same number in Vin number.
What does this number mean?
Thank you for answer in advance.

. Up to ya but, take the tag off and put it in a safe spot. You lose the key with the tag on it, will you remember the number? Since you have the # get a second key made, if you don't have one?

It is the key ID number. If lost, the MOCO can replace it and charge you a arm and a leg.

You don`t need to get a new key from the dealer, just go to a hardware store and have a couple of extra keys made.

I think I have 5 sets of keys. 2sets from the purchase and 3 sets from the neighborhood hardware store.

I have never lost a key to any of my vehicles in 50 years of driving and riding...lucky.

I now keep backup keys in all my jackets. we were 100 miles from home and I forgot the keys I carry at home. I locked the ignition when we were going into a restaurant and I didn't have the normal carry keys on me. I had my back up set tho so I got the bike unlocked. the back up set is hidden on the bike and I hadn't seen them or thought of them in about 20 years. when I went to where they were suppose to be, I didn't know if the keys were still there or not. they were right where I put them.
