Wiring Harness
Hi All. Gotta rewire from the 8-pin connector backwards for tail light, signals. Been looking for aftermarket harness. V-Twin Manufacturing has a ‘91 rear fender harness for a FLST. Anyone know if that will work on my ‘91 FLHTC?

Otherwise I’ll have to make one. No big deal I guess. Is that all 18 ga wire?

18 awg wire will work fine.
I don`t know if the harness for a Softail would work, sorry.
I made a rear harness for my `89 FLSTC, but I used a Deutsch DT connector.
But it would be easier to stay with the OEM type connector (AMP Mate n Lok) in your application because of the way the power wire for the tour pack branches off the main harness side of the connector (22A).
You can get the terminals for the connector from NAMZ.
