Default Questions about new bike.
Hello all. First post here. I recently got a 1993 FLHTC w/ 44k miles and am planning on rebuilding the uppers this winter as the front head is damaged. Before I start tearing into it I was wondering if there was a way to tell if the heads are tube or case breathers. Thanks in advance!

No idea what is going on in this picture but I know enough to see it isn't correct.

Looks to me like someone over tightened the spark plug and blew out the head. Not sure what the hose clamp is really doing

So for clarification that would be a case breather, correct? I'm trying to keep this project low budget and can't really afford an $1100 set of S&S heads so I'm watching ebay for something that would work.

Pretty sure it is lol. Strange part is the bike runs fine. Little lifter noise

lol well its a good cob job if it runs, check your bolts that hold your backing plate for your air breather that go into the heads, if bolts are hollow top breather
