I like my EV1. I consider it the cam that should have come with the bike.

Me I liked the EV 13 in my 97 EG Lots of low end torque. Stump puller it was

Agree with above, installed on 2 Evos way back when

Lobe profile is med lift and long duration, shaped more like your knuckle than a point
i assume this is where the torque comes from?
My understanding of cam timing is very limited
That said , some complain it makes more noise than stock due to “square” shape
Never bothered me.
Proven performer on a heavy bike that benefits from low end pull

My time running the 13 it was well on the quite side. Now a 27 would make some noise but it was a performer to boot.
Came in a little latter but still great cam. The EV 13 just happened to fit what we needed so well.

I have an EV27 in mine. No complaints. Bad Boy springer and I ride solo. That and a set of pipes and jets has me at 72/82. HP/TQ.

What about WOOD W6, any have experience?
I'm would like to have huge torque at 2000-3000 rpm
