I still get EVO parts from my local HD dealer ... Rob's used Harley parts ... swap meets, my dealer has yearly attic sales to get rid of older parts ... craigslist ... facebook marketplace ... ebay
Thanks, I wasn't aware that the dealers still sell them. I have grown leery of CL and won't do ebay any more. Its getting tough to find any "real" swap meets nowadays too. I appreciate your suggestions and will ask the dealer for what I'm looking for before I start checking elsewhere.
I find having the part number for the item I want to be the most important.
Apply that number to Google.....and it tells you who has it and if its nowhere to be found on this earth along with photos usually. Photos help as well....separates factory OEM from aftermarket sometimes.
I usually go to EBay.....it might take several months or even a year....but Ill eventually get what I want.
Remember....its sometimes better to upgrade than to stick with OEM stock.
I've had great experiences buying from Pinwall Cycle Salvage. Good, accurate descriptions, they've sent pics when I've asked, parts were always better than described. They're priced higher than others but I would not hesitate to use them again.
