Alma's topend part II
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I wanted to get the camper out of Oregon before the snow and since we bought the Motorhome we have no use for it. So we shoot up to our friends place in southern Idaho. We decided to give it to them and we could check the area out for a possible future move. Shot up to Oregon and picked up the camper and shoot back down. The camper has a new home now.
First time I've been there since they moved. He went up to help his brother who was dying of cancer and inherited it from him. I can say that his brother had a problem.....he bought machines.....dozens of them stored in every building on the property. milling machines, lathes, grinders, resurfaces, hones, brakes, sheers, hardware, bearings, seals, fittings. You name it and it's probably in some building! There is a 40' container with a full complement of full Doorman boxes that would rival ANY hardware store. There's also a garage full of metal stock of all shapes and sizes of Aluminum, stainless, and mild steel. I came home with way ore than I went with......lol. He gave me a mill, lathe, finger brake, sheer, and floor standing HD drill press for my shop when I move. He tried to pawn off some other equipment on me, but I had no use for it.....lol.
Now that I'm home for at least 3 months, it's time to get Alma back on the road! Gotta do some cleaning and rearranging first, but Alma's coming apart sometime this week.
Some of the stuff I got, he has a good stock of grinder wheels and stuff too.
