Front cylinder not firing but has spark

Hello,
from the pics it seems that there is more oil twards the front than the rear of the engine. Air while you were riding would push the oil to the rear.
Check that the oil filter hasn't come a bit loose. Simple things first, I had it happen twice (the same &/$/ing filter!!).

19972908[/url]]A doctors stethoscope works great for finding the source of ticks and noises like this. You can get a cheap one from most auto parts stores.
Be sure to get one made for automotive use. They have a long probe, not the little disc that the medical ones use.
