Default Ring and pinion replacement

'97 Fat boy broke the ring and pinion. I'm trying to find a kit that I can use my OEM large coupler. I don't want to remove the starter(again). I see Compu-Fire kits with the ring gear and pinion and Evolution kits with the same. Evolution said I need to use their jackshaft assbly but it has the smaller coupler for the starter and as I said I don't want to remove the starter again. Which of these kits will work with my original jackshaft and large coupler(10 T)? I'm wanting to go 10/84 as I recently installed an engine with 10 to 1 and the starter clutch immediately went then the gears in succession.

Thanks

Right. But right now I'm trying to find out what ring and pinion kit I can use with my OEM jackshaft. I cannot find out anything on it.

Remove the long pinion bolt to remove the old pinion, install new pinion, put the bolt back in. If you decide to pull the coupler out make sure you note the offset of the c-clip, the back side of the coupler slides over the starter output shaft, starter doesn't need pulled to do this. I have the same ring gear set
