Starting to pull the top off of Alma (again), does anyone have the piston to bore clearances for an S&S 96" stroker? I've looked EVERYWHERE and can't seem to find that particular measurement.

Forged Pistons .004"-.0045".. I don't have the machinery to bore cylinders and usually leave that up to Scott.. He's done all my cylinders and set them up to my Pistons..

 

Thanks guys, don't know why I couldn't find it. Don't know for sure but I might be able to hone the jugs and replace the rings. Will know more when I get it apart although the weather isn't helpin much.

Been 114 for 3 days now and today is going to be more of the same except with more humidity.
