I'm thinking about trying them in my 103ci big bore motor. Just curious how you liked them? I've been told with tighter tolerances, there's less piston slap, and less detonation.
Anybody have any comments on them?
Thanks
Are these hypereutectic?? Fancy cast piston.
Harleys are, can be, tough on pistons. They can get air cooled HOT. You probably have forged pistons on your race car and I know the Diesel F250 has forged.
I think name brand forged pistons. Cheap insurance.
I haveJEflat top pistons(and rings) fitted by Dan Dunn at NRHS. No piston slap.
There are some good tech articals about hypereutectic pistons at this site and Axtell also.
