I seem to remember that you used to be able to do some interesting things with previous to EVO models. - Shovelheads on a Pan bottom end, one shovel, one pan top end etc
Can the Evo be done similarly? Shove heads on top of an evo bottom?
I doubt it makes sense mechanically/power wise - just curious as to what "could" not necessarily "should" be done.
Getting my hands here shortly on a 97 and as a 2nd, purely toy type of bike - I'm wondering what's "possible" within realm of reason for it.
My opinion .anything can be accomplished with enough money and time.
There use to or still are companies that allow you to do want you want. But, they arent/werent popular and greatly compromised the EVO dependability.
One big upgrade for the evo vs shovel, pan, knuckle, ect was aluminum cylinders to dissipate heat, so I don't know why you would want to put a cast iron shovel or pan on top of an evo for that reason, swapping on a pan or shovel your not losing anything because they are both cast iron
