I have one that needs the engine rebuilt. I also have a twin cam with transmission from a wrecked bike I was going to put in a ridged bobber. Could I put the blockhead with the 4 speed Kickstart on the shelf and bolt the twin cam in with an adapter? Thank you

So your going to try to use an EVO engine with a twin cam trans and then try to put a four speed shovel or very early evo kicker on the twin cam tranny???

an 86 FXWG has and always will be the bike that I wish I had. OP are you suggesting that you are going to butcher yours?
I ask because placing a TC in your wide glide is going to require some hacking.

No if it requires alteration to the frame I will not proceed.
this is the information I was seeking, I thought I found an adapter for the engine mount that would allow it to bolt in.
