Ok..before someone else says it...yes, it’s my bike, and my opinion. Now, I’m just putting it out there for discussion. I’ve got a 94 RK, and have been kicking around the idea of getting a custom paint job. It’d be basically black, with a custom design on the tank. If you were in my position, would you repaint this bike?

 

No…too many black bikes. I like your current scheme.

No way! I love the colors you have now! Only reason I've been thinking of going custom is I am factory black and the paint is in real need of a refresh

 

My opinion is that if it's in decent shape, nothing beats a factory finish.

 

I don't generally try to tell folks what to do but since you asked: No.
You have a classic look now and so long as the paint doesn't NEED to be re-done..I would leave it alone.

Anything but Black. Take a step out of the safe zone of no imagination . Black is so darn boring. Bike looks pretty darn good as is.

 

Your bike, your decision, but if there is nothing wrong with the paint, I would wait till there is something wrong with it, then do a repaint.
