I have a 94 EGlide classic with the tour pak. I would like to get a sissy bar/luggage rack to use around town. I cannot find one anywhere. I am looking for the setup seen on the pic below. Can anyone tell me where to get one for my year of bike?
To HD a 94 is old,,,,,believe me.I have an 87 & I don't exist to them. You most likely will have to go after market like Custom Chrome,or JP Cycles,or the like.Good luck in your hunt.
Check with the dealership. Part # 53405-87B. It a luggage rack for a FLHS, but will bolt to the FLHT. The passenger backrest pad is Part # 52548-87B for the Pillow-Look style. You don't necessarily need to have thebackrest (unless your OL requires it). (check out my avatar-My 93 FLHS has one)
The numbers may have been 'updated', but they arethe numbers listed in my 1994 parts/accessories catalog. The dealer's computers are all linked so they can probably locate you one if they don't have one in stock or at the warehouse.
I got tired of trying to chase one down , so I decided to update to a detachable like the new bikes. Got all the docking hardware ,and a nice laydown lic plate. I myself didn't like the look of the perm steel plate that the tour pack bolts to.
I agree, I don't like the look of the license plate mount. Does Harley make a detachable kit for our bikes? I was under the impression they were only available for newer models.
The dealership says they don't make docking hardware for a detachable tour pack ,,,,, but they do , it's from a newer bike heres the part #53804-6 and costs about $55.00 and the angle lic plate with bar #dsds720235 from drag specialties costs $124.00 .
