It was a freeze plug that I assume the previous owner had put in there,needless to say I used my dremel tool and cut it out.

I suspected it was a f/p since it looked like a "factory job." Thanks for verifying that.

I've seen that done on the right down pipe of Touring exhausts to make a hillbilly true dual. But there is a much easier way to do it on them.
