Yup, to bend a pushrod you'd have to bend a valve and we all know how that goes..

I bent 2 when I ripped out both right side headstuds out of the cases @ ~5500ish RPM. valves were A OK. head gasket blew out the whole right side, pushrods jumped and wailed the hell out of the tubes (i saved the tubes somewhere...clips went flying and never recovered em)
this story is DEFINITELY bullshit...but a valve def isnt the ONLY way to bend a pushrod (that being said, i took the ole 80" further than most do)
