Sorry if this is a repeat question. But I didn’t find it in the Ibo section. I have a friend that has an 05 Fatboy I was wondering how much is involved to make those wheels fit my 98 heritage softail. I’m not even sure if they’re the right size outside of possibly being 16 inch. Anybody that has any experience with this but I would greatly appreciate it.

Your answer depends on the size of the tire that is on the rear rim. Yes they will bolt onto your bike. It's pretty similar spacing.

You can use the rims.. The axle size is still 3/4 but a sealed bearing.. Also the center mount for the pulley and rotor is larger then on your 98. So you'll have to get 2000 up rotors and pulley.. There might be a slight difference in the hub width so you might have to get additional spacers to properly align the wheel and belt.. But it can be done..I have a 2000 up after market rim set from Southern machine and have no issues..
